Hemp is one of the most promising renewable natural resources. This panel will survey the many opportunities a restored hemp agriculture industry promises for food, clothing, shelter, paper, plastics, fuel, and other consumer goods. Questions to be answered: How will the U.S. hemp industry (industries more accurately) compare with those in Canada, Europe, and China? Will North Carolina, Kentucky and other Southern states lead the U.S. in hemp farming and production?
