Dr. Ferdinand Weis, lawyer specializing in cannabis law and BvCW board member, has achieved another success for the Green Brothers in court. The Freiburg Regional Court ruled that the trade in industrial hemp (up to 0.1% THC) does not fall under the prohibited cannabis business, he reported on LinkedIn. This decision, which was based on the assumption that abuse for intoxication purposes was ruled out, was supported by the Consumer Cannabis Act (KCanG), which provides legal options for obtaining cannabis. According to Weis, the court followed a realistic approach, which portrays the misuse of industrial hemp as economically nonsensical and impractical.
