December 26 – The STIIIZY data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company discovered unauthorized access to sensitive consumer information. The STIIIZY data breach resulted in the exposure of confidential data including names, addresses, dates of birth, medical information, driver’s license numbers, and other government-issued identification of as many as 380,000 individuals.

What Happened As A Result Of The STIIIZY Data Breach?

According to the Texas Attorney General’s officeSTIIIZY reported a data breach after identifying unauthorized access to consumer data in their systems. While the exact nature of the incident remains under investigation, the breach could have resulted from either a direct compromise of STIIIZY’s network or a security incident affecting one of their third-party vendors.

On December 23, 2024, STIIIZY sent notification to the Texas Attorney General. On January 8, 2024, STIIIZY filed notice with the Attorney General of Maine and began sending out data breach letters to the 380,000 individuals affected by the breach. These personalized letters should provide victims with a list of what information belonging to them was compromised.
