Health Benefits Of Hemp Seeds

Today we’re going to look at a seed, a tiny little powerhouse that I’m not sure you’ve been enjoying in your diet. It is the hemp seed. What are the health benefits of hemp seeds?

1. Protein

Starting with the powerhouse of nutrition, it’s protein in the hemp seeds, for every tablespoon, you’re going to get three to five grams of protein. So adding this into your smoothie every morning, if you are out of protein powder, then you might just say well, I get three to five grams of protein per tablespoon. So now I can just add in enough to equate that protein powder. That’s how simple this can be.

2. Fat

So besides protein, we have fat, and in the fat, we get two to three grams of fat per tablespoon, it’s going to vary between the plants, it’s going to vary between how it’s been harvested and has been processed. So that’s why I’m kind of giving you variables.

3. Fiber

Another hemp seed benefit is fiber. So three to five grams of fiber per tablespoon serving these three alone creates that satiety that creates that fullness that helps you to delay the next meal, it helps you with intermittent fasting, it helps you in so many ways.

4. ALA

This has been so much more research lately. In the hemp seeds, you get a two to one ratio, which is extremely good. So between the Omega threes and the Omega six, perfectly, perfectly balanced. So this makes it a perfect food.

5. Neuroprotective

Now, they’ve also discovered that hemp seeds are neuro protective, this means it’s going to benefit your brain and the nerve endings that are communicating with every area of your body.

6. Libido
Another benefit of hemp seeds is libido.

7. Healthy Muscles

Hemp seeds help to build muscle tone, muscle tissue, and they’re very good for your heart.

8. Magnesium

So we’ve talked about a lot and I just want to go over this but there’s two more things. Magnesium, a serving of hemp seeds, which could be typically served as three tablespoons, is going to give you 50% of your daily value of magnesium.

9. Zinc

Hemp seeds increase your zinc Yes, so hemp seeds have zinc. So that’s just such an incredible package of what God has put together inside this seed.

10. Cardiovascular health

These seeds help vessels, your arteries and your veins to stay smooth and elastic. And that in itself is going to help prevent varicose veins also keeps your heart strong as well.

11. Weight Loss

Since hemp seeds help with satiety, you feel fuller longer, which helps with your weight loss goals.
